Lunch

Dinner

Open by reservation between 5-8pm Monday thru Friday, the South Street Creamery’s new dinner menu features an Eritrean-Italian fusion of seasonings and flavors.

Some of these dishes, like our Cranberry & Feta Pizzette and our Kids Mac & Cheese, are iconic recipes crafted from the Creamery’s book of recipes. But others, like our Lentil Birsen or Mushroom Kantisha, include spices and descriptions only familiar to those who have tried East African Cuisine, from Red Pepper Seasoning and Clarified Butter to our Eritrean Sweet Bread and Teff Injera.

“Wow the Eritrean dinner was insane!!! SO good. I’ve been waiting for a place that serves amazing food like this in Morristown- so delicious!! Also I realized I didn’t get a chance to snap a picture because I ate it all too quickly. Food was so good I immediately went to Google to write a review which I normally don’t do.

“The best lentils, shiro & spinach you’ll find in NJ!! Mouthwateringly delicious. The avocado & tomato salad was an excellent compliment to the main dishes. Highly recommended!”

-Samuel Tesfaye

“We went to the Creamery/Cafe for a late lunch at 1 O’clock today.
Although their Eritrean menu says available by reservation 5 to 8 pm. we were able to order from the dinner menu.
Service was prompt and very friendly.
The Eritrean food was novel and delicious.
Many, varied, interesting items to choose from.
A pleasant contrast and relief from the usual hamburger, steak, pizza, sushi, etc. choices at most other restaurants in the Morristown area.”
